South Korean drama fans were left bewildered on July 20 and 21 after XRP hackers took over two prominent YouTube channels: tvN Drama and TVING. TvN Drama, with over 7.11 million subscribers, and TVING, with more than 985,000 subscribers, are both owned by CJ Group, a major South Korean conglomerate.
During the breach, hackers altered channel logos, banners, and descriptions to feature Ripple logos and changed channel handles to XRP- and Ripple-related titles. They also streamed Ripple and XRP-themed videos, leveraging YouTube's streaming capabilities.
